Pictures of Fireworks
My new camera rocks ... the Canon Powershot S60.
I tested it out taking the July 4th fireworks on the East River (near the UN building). I'd found an article online explaining how to photograph fireworks using a digital camera, and thought I'd give it a shot (no pun intended!).
There's this cool feature of the camera where it can take 10 shots in 3 seconds. So all I had to do was point the camera upwards and press the button! I did miss a couple of good ones - I stopped taking photos and decided to watch instead - the smiley face and the valentine hearts. Pity.
